Welcome to Essex Autism Service

At our clinic in Essex, we provide in-person comprehensive diagnostic assessments of autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) for children and adults. Our experienced clinicians use standardised assessment tools recommended by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE). 

As a clinician-led service, our core values are to provide the highest quality service that we can for our clients; we are known to be thorough, and our clinicians are highly experienced, caring, and supportive.   • Your assessment will include a face-to-face appointment with both a clinical psychologist and a speech and language therapist. 
  • We use the best possible assessment tools available.  
  • We will provide additional assessments where we can, free of charge, when the outcome isn’t yet clear (e.g., speech and language assessments, cognitive assessments).  Our priority is conducting a comprehensive assessment irrespective of how hard we have to work.
